Personal Information

Vassilios Agelidis: graduated from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece in 1988 and he obtained a Master of Applied Science from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada in 1992. He gained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Curtin University of Technology in 1997 and has recently completed the requirements for the Certificate of Business Administration (CBA) at Curtin Graduate School of Business. From 1996 he was a Research Associate for the Centre for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies, Australia (CRESTA). Dr. Agelidis is currently a research manager for the inter-university Glasgow-Strathclyde Centre for Economic Renewable Power Delivery and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronics & Electrical Engineering at The University of Glasgow. He is the author of numerous papers in the areas of power electronics and renewable generation systems.
