| Nanoelectronics is concerned with understanding and exploiting the properties of devices with critical dimensions on the nanometre scale (10-9m). A number of large research teams use the nanotechnologies of electron beam lithography, molecular beam epitaxy, and dry etching. Devices and circuits are designed, modelled, fabricated and analysed within the Nanoelectronics Centre on a variety of base materials including silicon and gallium arsenide. |
